Taylormade superfast driver reviews 2011

The club is also lighter at well under grams thanks to a lighter 48 gram shaft. However there is a downside to all this in that the shot dispersion is likely to be wider than the R9 driver range as the longer shaft was definitely be harder to control by our posse of testers.

TaylorMade say that is OK as the feedback they got from the market was that amateurs wanted distance over accuracy and were quite happy to play from the semi-rough a bit further down the fairway. To help with this, the Burner Superfast driver also has TaylorMade's largest face they have ever made on a driver and combined with the inverted cone technology, the extra forgiveness does well to keep the ball on the straight and narrow.

We found the performance to be very good with great sound and feel and a nice trajectory. The looks and colour scheme on top of the head divided opinion among our testers, with some liking the modern looks and others put off by the red line on the crown. It was a little longer than the equivalent R9 driver but the longer shaft did mean a little less directional consistency.

However if distance is your thing then the TaylorMade Burner Superfast driver is worth trying out. Just picked up a lightly used Burner Superfast driver. I used an original Burner for years and liked it but this generation is even better! I am sixty-five but still hit the ball pretty good. With the senior shaft in this SuperFast I am able to hit many very straight drives and get out to between to Would recommend this driver to any mid to high handicapper, particularly the seniors.

Just picked this club up from a player who could never hit it. He gifted it to me on the third hole after push slicing for years he said. I piped it the rest of the round and it is just as long as my Callaway Authentic Razr Tour 9. This driver is great. I have previously owned the Taylormade Burner and my best drive was but switched to the TaylorMade burner SuperFast and now its but also importantly it's consistent.

Tried to like this as an improvement on what I was using Titleist R with a true temper E reg shaft at 45" but I couldn't get more distance with the standard fitted reg Matrix Ozik X con shaft at 46" and my shot dispersion was much more than the So I got it shortened by the pro at the range by an inch, this improved the straightness significantly, and I was still hitting it as far as before it was shortened, I compared it to my Callaway FT IQ which I had in my backup set and the IQ was straighter and longer so standard reg Fubuki at 45" disappointed overall for me that is I believed the hype too readily should have found a place who would let me try it before my purchase.

Sold it on for a reasonable price as it had only hit approx 80 balls. TaylorMade Burner SuperFast driver was given to me as a hand me down. I was super fortunate! I am an ex-baseball player and a gold swing took some time to master, if i am anywhere close to that yet The distance gain does result in a slight drop in accuracy.

By Neil Tappin published 18 May Lightweight definitely equals long here with noticeably improved yardage. However, the longer shaft resulted in a noticeable loss of accuracy compared to the R W: taylormadegolf. Neil has worked for Golf Monthly for over years. The TaylorMade Burner Superfast was voted to Golf Digest Hot list [Gold] and is starting to quickly gain in popularity, mainly because of the stellar reputation of its predecessor. TaylorMade is known for their high quality, high technological drivers and this one fits the bill as well. The only shortsightedness we see is the This can be avoided by custom fitted shaft.
